Bungie Is Working On A Brand New Game Series

Bungie, the folks behind the good Halo games and the Destiny series, is planning to put out a brand new IP within the next four years.

This announcement was made alongside a press release talking about the company’s expansion plans, specifically a slew of new hires in their independent studio and a new expansion for its worldwide headquarters. The company’s first international office will be in Amsterdam and will open in 2022.

So will we see a new game from Bungie that isn’t Destiny or a shooter? Who knows? The devs plan to introduce the new IP before 2025 hits. We’re in a COVID-19 world, so delays and postponements of that plan might happen. Though it’ll be nice if they somehow went back to their strategy game roots ala the Myth series.
