Treyarch has announced that Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 2 is launching next week on 25 February 2021. Treyarch hasn’t revealed much about the new season yet, but the new trailer does reveal several clues about the Operators and new weapons.
The trailer depicts a team of soldiers in the jungle of Laos in pursuit of someone named Naga. It turns out Naga is a magnum-toting, sunglasses-wearing, probable villain who is working to secure a shipment of Nova 6, which he’s sending to Verdansk. At the end of the trailer, Naga escapes and the team of soldiers arrives.
The synopsis reads:
After the attack on The Pines, Adler has been taken hostage.
Intel leads to Southeast Asia, where Naga, a Perseus operative, has been distributing deadly Nova 6 gas through a vast cartel network.
In Season Two, head to a stronghold in the jungles of Laos to strike back, rescue Adler from captivity, and even the fight.
The first new weapon that shows up in the trailer is a Crossbow, and what seems to be a Galil. However, these will only be confirmed by the developers soon enough. In the meantime, check out the trailer below:
