[Rumour] We’re Getting A Judgment Sequel From Sega

Judgment, an action-adventure game that is a spin-off of the Yakuza series, is getting a sequel.

According to Tojo Dojo, Sega is still working on a sequel to the 2018 title and is calling it by its working title “Lost Judgment” and “Judgment: Seize The Truth”. Sega has trademark the following names and will settle for a concrete title at a later date this year.

The game will still feature main character Yagami and his sidekick Kaito, and will be much darker than previous titles. The Yakuza titles have made a fine balance between the serious and the slapstick-filled, so this sequel might skew that towards the former.

We’ll be keeping an eye and ear out on this sequel. In the meantime, you can read up on what we thought about the first Judgment and the recent Yakuza: Like A Dragon.
