Directors Aaron Schoenke and Sean Schoenke from YouTube channel BatInTheSun have made an impressive Batman fan film titled Batman Dying Is Easy. What distinguishes this from the rest is its surprisingly high production values and cameos from several Hollywood-level actors, including Doug Jones (of Star Trek Discovery‘s Saru fame), Casper Van Dien (of Starship Troopers fame) and Michael Madsen.

Funded by fans via IndieGoGo for more than US$75,000, the highlight of Batman Dying Is Easy is a confrontation between Batman (Kevin Porter) and a supposedly dying Joker (Aaron Schoenke).

After an opening scene that sees the Dark Knight take care of The Mad Hatter (Jamie Costa), Batman is called to Arkham Asylum to meet the Joker for his final words. Fans will appreciate the short but sweet cameos from Michael Madsen as Bullock, Doug Jones as the Riddler, musician Chris Daughtry as Hugo Strange, and Casper Van Dien as Commissioner Gordon.

Other Batman villains like Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, Mr. Freeze, Victor Zasz and Catwoman can also been spotted in the 25-minute-long fan film.
