The Apple vs Epic Games trial continues, and with it comes more document reveals.

The latest includes an Epic Games Store “Review of Performance and Strategy” document from October 2019 during the trial. The document states that Dead Island 2 is an Epic Games Store exclusive. The game is officially under development at Dambuster Studios, and has shifted hands between Techland, Yager, and Sumo Digital.

There’s also a mention of a new Saints Row sequel, though the document and its wording could have alluded to Saints Row 3: Remastered, which was exclusive to Epic Games Store starting 22nd May 2020. At the very least, a Saints Row 5 is happening courtesy of Koch Media. Based on the amount of funding Epic Games is willing to give to big studios to make their games, it wouldn’t be surprising if Koch Media were to kowtow to this exclusivity deal.

On a related note, Epic has spent at least US$1 billion on launch exclusives for its storefront.
