Age Of Empires 4 Xbox Version Is Reportedly In Development
Age Of Empires 4 launched on PC and Xbox Game Pass on 28 October 2021. Since then, it’s had a very good launch, even exceeding a whopping 70,000 concurrent players at its peak.
The Twitter account @ALumia_Italia usually searches the Xbox database for codenames and other product information. What’s interesting is that they have discovered that a codename “Cardinal” had been added to the Xbox database, which apparently is related to Age Of Empires 4.

What could it mean? It might mean that an Xbox version of the RTS game might finally be in development by Relic Entertainment. However, we should take all of this with a grain of salt for now, as nothing has been confirmed by Microsoft or Relic Entertainment.
