These Two Games Contributed To Strong Capcom Digital Sales

Capcom has published its quarterly financial report, which revealed that strong digital sales have improved company profits. As of 31 December 2021, net sales for Capcom have risen by 35.9 per cent, while operating income has increased by 43.9 percent.

What’s interesting is that Capcom names two specific games as the major contributors to this achievement. These include Resident Evil Village and Monster Hunter Stories 2 Wings Of Ruin, which are directly mentioned in the report. According to the report as well, video game sales exceeded 25.8 million units during the last quarter.

Resident Evil Village shipped 5.7 million units while Monster Hunter Stories 2 Wings Of Ruin shipped over 1.4 million units.

In addition, Capcom has managed to reach its highest net sales and profit at the end of a third-quarter within the company’s history. Other titles that contributed to Capcom’s strong sales include Resident Evil 7, as well as other divisions, such as the release of the Resident Evil Welcome To Raccoon City movie, and esports endeavours.
