Utada Hikaru Sings Kingdom Hearts Themes At Coachella 2022

This year’s music festival Coachella 2022 has a few surprises for video game fans, especially those who love Kingdom Hearts.

During the Rising88 segment featuring international artists like 2NE1, renowned Japanese singer Utada Hikaru sang “Simple and Clean” and “Face My Fears” from the Kingdom Hearts series. The first track is from the first Kingdom Hearts’ game ending while the latter is Kingdom Hearts 3’s opening theme. She also sang “Automatic” and “First Love”, two tracks that also put her on the international map.

You can check out the segment here, somewhere in the middle. The concert is still being livestreamed, so we can’t put a time stamp just yet.
