Epic Games Store Drops This Week’s Free Games: A D&D Idle Clicker Title & A Retro Remake
In this week’s free games on the Epic Games Store, we have Idol Champions of the Forgotten Realm and Wonder Boy the Dragon’s Trap. Let’s break them down:
Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is a Dungeons & Dragons-themed strategy game. As the title suggests, it is an idle and auto-battle game but utilises real strategy. You play a party of champions and master the art of Formation Strategy. On top of playing out your strategy to win your battles, you raise your champions and upgrade their unique abilities, collect gears, and unlock new Champions in new events. While the base game has always been free, it contains various seasonal cosmetic DLCs, none of which are P2W, of course, so don’t worry.
This time around they have a limited-time offer from today until the 21st of July with Baeloth’s Gladiators of the Black Pits Pack (with over $100 of value) for all players who log into the game to claim for free. Who doesn’t like free limited-time only cosmetics in a game?

You are Hu-man in for an adventure as a half-human, half-lizard boy, cursed by Meka-Dragon, in search of a cure for your unwilling transformation. For the cure, you will need to find the magical item that removes curses; Salamander Cross. Throughout your dragon-slaying journey, your curse intensifies and gives you the ability to turn into different animals.
With each dragon slain, the curse intensifies, transforming you into different animals. With this ability (or curse) you inhabit Lizard-Man, Mouse-Man, Piranha-Man, Lion-Man, and Hawk-Man, and use their unique abilities to uncover hidden secrets of the land.
The game provides players with 3 difficulty levels and is available to switch from modern graphics and sound to 8-bit graphics/audio at any time.
