Former Game Of Thrones Actress Sued Over Cut Thor Love And Thunder Role

Former Game Of Thrones actress Lena Headey is reportedly being sued by her former agency over unpaid commission fees relating to several projects, which includes her role that was supposed to be in Thor Love And Thunder.
According to Variety, UK-based agency Troika has filed a lawsuit against Lena Headey over outstanding commission fees from several projects. They’re seeking a total of US$1.5 million. This apparently includes US$500,000 for her earnings from Thor Love And Thunder. This is despite her not appearing in the final cut of the Marvel Studios movie.
Headey reportedly joined Troika from 2005 until 2020 when the agency rebranded as YMU. However, the agency claims that Headey owes them money under the terms of their agreement, while the actress claims that she never actually signed a contract with the agency. She also alleges that Troika was not involved in the negotiations regarding her role on Thor Love And Thunder, as she claims that director Taika Waititi personally reached out to her for the part.
It’s currently unclear why Headey’s role was cut from Thor Love And Thunder, and we don’t even know what character she’s playing. Maybe she’ll appear in future Marvel projects. You don’t simply cast Lena Headey in a role and not utilize an actress of her talent.
In case you missed it, Thor Love And Thunder has been delayed to 21 July 2022 in Malaysia (check out the full story here).
