Genshin Impact Trailer Shows Off The Dendro Element In Full

Genshin Impact’s seventh element in its fantasy anime RPG world will be playable soon, as evident in this new developer diary-style trailer from Hoyoverse/Mihoyo.

The new trailer showcases the Traveler using Dendro powers which is lets you shoot leaves & wood(?) onto enemies weak to it, interact with the wildlife of the upcoming new continent of Sumeru (like plant trampolines & vine-swinging), and summon flying plant pods for assists. The developers stated that the key words for the Dendro Element are catalysis, wisdom, and life. Dendro will feature two new effects: Bloom and Catalyze. Bloom will focus on healing and growth passive effects and environmental interactions, while Catalyze will debuff enemies and interact with Pyro, Hydro, and Electro elements to devastating effects.

The new Dendro powers will be accessible in Genshin Impact’s 3.0 update. Personally, I’m excited to see how else the new element will interact with existing elements and also in the new continent.
