Netflix has released a full-fledged trailer of Studio Trigger’s anime adaptation of Cyberpunk 2077, the game with more bugs than an insect museum.

The Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime series’ new trailer focuses on introducing the show’s characters, including main characters David and Lucy. The Edgerunners consist of the two, including Maine, Dorio, Kiwi, Pilar, and Rebecca. As you would expect from the bats*** insane works of Studio Trigger, there’s a lot of crazy cyber and edgerunning killing action going on in just less than 2 minutes.

Here’s the actual synopsis of the show:

“The series tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in Night City — a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.”

Cyberpunk Edgerunners is directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill) and features a soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill, No More Heroes 2). The show will be out this September.
