Valorant’s Newest Game Mode Swiftplay Beta Is Live

Riot Games has announced its newest game mode coming to Valorant dubbed Swiftplay with its beta live now.

Swiftplay is a condensed version of VALORANT’s standard 5v5 Spike mode that aims to offer the core VALORANT experience to players who have a lower time commitment. For Swiftplay, the first team to 5 rounds is the winner, with a 4-round half, modified econ and bonus structure, as well as a sudden death overtime.

The economy is enhanced meaning you will be able to afford weapons/equipment during rounds that you usually wouldn’t in Unrated or Ranked. It should also be noted that Swiftplay will be played on all current Unrated maps.

Riot says that this game mode is to offer the core Valorant experience to players who have a lower time commitment, or want to get in as many reps in during a smaller window. It can also act as the perfect warm-up for those who want don’t want the hassle of playing an entire Unrated game.
