Malaysian Action Game Katana Rama Delayed Indefinitely
By Alleef Ashaari|January 31, 2023|0 Comment
Malaysian games developer Ghost Machine 1.0 has announced that their upcoming action game Katana Rama will no longer be released for PC in February 2023. It has been delayed indefinitely with no new release date or specific month as a release window.
However, in their statement (via Twitter), the developer mentions that they hope to still release the game sometime in 2023, if possible. The reason for the delay is because Katana Rama is still unfinished and it still needs more development time.
#Announcement: We are sorry to announce Katana Rama will be delayed to further notice. Rest assured, the team is hard at work to deliver the game the best it can be. pic.twitter.com/wbnHSSA4P3

Katana Rama is a mobility-based and fast-paced action game with retro Dreamcast-like visuals where you play as a hacker program, with the mission of breaking out of a digital security system.
We had the chance to play Katana Rama hands-on at Level Up KL 2022 and it was a taste of how great it could be. Recently, we also included it as part of our top ten Southeast Asian indie games to look out for in 2023.
We wish all the best to the folks at Ghost Machine 1.0 and we hope to be able to play the game later this year. Fingers crossed, and Malaysian Boleh! For now, go ahead and wishlist the game on Steam.
