Vinland Saga Season 2 First Episode Is Now Available On Netflix Malaysia

The first episode of Vinland Saga Season 2 has premiered on Netflix Malaysia and is now available to watch. There will be 24 episodes in the second season, and new episodes will premiere every Tuesday.

The anime is essentially a series for fans of Vikings and historical fiction. It is set in Dane-controlled England at the start of the 11th century, featuring a fictional retelling of King Cnut the Great’s historical rise to power with a revenge plot centred on the historical explorer Thorfinn, the son of a murdered ex-warrior who serves under a group of mercenaries responsible for the deed.

The first season’s staff return for the second season at studio MAPPA instead of Wit Studio. Sh?hei Yabuta returns to direct the anime, while Hiroshi Seko is again supervising and writing the series scripts. Takahiko Abiru is returning to design the characters, while Yutaka Yamada is again composing the music.

The anime’s first season originally premiered back in July 2019.
