Kevin Feige Confirms That A Spider-Man 4 Script Is In The Works & There Will Be Fewer Disney+ Marvel Shows
On the cusp of the premiere of Ant-Man And The Wasp Quantumania (check out our full review here), Entertainment Weekly has published a new extensive interview with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige. He discusses a lot of new details in there, but what’s most interesting were probably these two points.
Firstly, when asked about them changing “the pace at which we’re putting out the Disney+ shows”, Kevin Feige confirmed that Marvel Studios will now space them out further from each other and that there will be fewer Disney+ shows in a year.
That makes sense, considering that no 2023 Disney+ Marvel show currently has a release date, including Loki Season 2 and Secret Invasion.
It’s also good news, considering how packed 2022 was when it came to Disney+ Marvel show premieres. We could barely keep up with them ourselves, let alone casual viewers or Disney+ subscribers.
Secondly, he confirmed that a script for Spider-Man 4 is in the works. Keep in mind that a Spider-Man 4 has yet to be officially confirmed to be in either Phase Five or Phase Six since there’s no release window or other information as of yet.
When asked about Spider-Man 4, Kevin Feige said:
“All I will say is that we have the story. We have big ideas for that, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now.”
There you have it, folks. Check out the full interview at Entertainment Weekly for more details on upcoming MCU movies.
