Moist Esports Enter VALORANT By Signing Roster Of BreakThru

Moist Esports officially enters the VALORANT scene by signing the NA Challengers team BreakThru. Co-owner Ludwig Ahgren announced the news during a stream with tarik, which had fans in a frenzy after reports had previously linked the organization to the BreakThru squad.

The BreakThru team currently has a 1-1 record and features former Ghost Gaming and FaZe Clan players, coached by ex-Vitality coach Tanishq “Tanizhq” Sabharwal. The roster will now be representing Moist Esports in the competitive VALORANT scene.

The roster consists of:

  • Brady “thief” Dever
  • Alex “aproto” Protopapas
  • Xavier “flyuh” Carlson
  • Brock “brawk” Somerhalder
  • Tyler “sym” Porter
  • Tanishq “Tanizhq” Sabharwal (Coach)

Ludwig had previously hinted at entering the Riot Games’ esports scene since joining Moist Esports in January, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the news after fellow content creator Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang signed his own team, which also qualified for NA Challengers.

Moist Esports’ involvement in VALORANT isn’t a complete surprise, as they previously hosted the Ludwig x Tarik VALORANT Invitational in Los Angeles during the offseason, featuring four teams, including two VCT partners (Sentinels and T1).

The Moist Esports organization now competes in Apex Legends, Rocket League, Guilty Gear Strive, Super Smash Bros. and VALORANT. Their newly acquired team will be making their debut appearance for the organization on February 27 in their Challengers match against Turtle Troop, playing under the name ‘Moist Moguls’.

So there you have it! Moist Esports has made their big move into VALORANT, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the organization in the competitive scene. It’s always exciting to see new teams and players enter the fray, and with Ludwig and the rest of the team at the helm, we’re sure they’ll be making waves in no time.
