Diablo 4 To Support DLSS At Launch; Find Out Why That’s A Big Deal
Frame-rate savvy PC gamers, rejoice! DLSS is coming to Diablo 4.
The game, which is slated for PC and consoles on 6 June this year, will be getting DLSS 3 upscaling support from the get-go.
“Supporting smooth gameplay in Diablo 4 is a priority for Blizzard. We’re excited by the high frame rate of Diablo 4 running on Nvidia GeForce RTX 40-series hardware and DLSS 3.”
That should be promising, considering how the game’s current minimum specs are, which isn’t that demanding to begin with. Still, DLSS 3 is an RTX 40-series exclusive feature and that requires a RM5,000 or so commitment. Why is this a big deal? Because DLSS 3 adds additional frames to make your games run smoother and sharper than usual. It’s a manual FPS boost to go alongside computers with speedy SSDs.
Other PC titles that feature DLSS include Forza Horizon 5, Redfall, and The Finals, so it’s getting to be quite a trend for high-end PC gamers.
