Tarkov Bans & Shames Cheaters In Public; Here’s How They Do It
Cheaters never prosper, especially in the online multiplayer circuit of gaming.
Escape From Tarkov (or just Tarkov) developer Battlestate Games is going all out against cheaters in the game; aimbots, wallhackers, and so forth. Not only did the developer ban them but it’s shaming them in public (via Techcrunch). The company has banned 6,700 cheaters from the game and then published their nicknames in a simple spreadsheet via Google Docs.
With the support of BattlEye anti-cheat more than 2000 cheaters have been banned in Escape from Tarkov lately.https://t.co/5dos2ZypDn

This public action is done for two reasons: (i) to shame cheaters in a public space and (ii) show non-cheaters that Battlestate is taking action.
“We want honest players to see the nicknames of cheaters know that justice has been served.”
Battlestate still has work to do in regard to the ever-growing problem of cheaters popping up; this is one way to deal with it that sends a message. Escape From Tarkov is available right now in beta form on Battlestate Games’ website.
