Ubisoft Cancels E3 2023 Attendance, Their Own Live Stream Set For June
By Alleef Ashaari|March 28, 2023|1 Comment
Ubisoft has announced that they will not attend E3 2023. However, they will still host a Ubisoft Forward live stream on 12 June 2023 in Los Angeles.
Speaking to VGC, Ubisoft said:
“E3 has fostered unforgettable moments across the industry throughout the years. While we initially intended to have an official E3 presence, we’ve made the subsequent decision to move in a different direction, and will be holding a Ubisoft Forward Live event on 12th June in Los Angeles. We look forward to sharing more details with our players very soon.”
As of now, it remains to be seen what Ubisoft will be showcasing at their upcoming Ubisoft Forward live stream. Perhaps we’ll see a first look at actual gameplay from Assassin’s Creed Mirage? Fingers crossed.
Besides Ubisoft, Nintendo has previously also confirmed their absence.
E3 2023 is slated to take place from 13 June to 16 June 2023 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. With Nintendo and Ubisoft out of the picture, E3 will need to do something drastic to make sure they are still relevant this summer.
