Minecraft Legends : Everything You Need To Know About Mounts, & The Best Ones To Ride

Minecraft Legends is a big open-world strategy game where you get to explore many different biomes. To get around, there are multiple mounts that you can get. Luckily, I’ve gone through and found all the different mounts you can get, where you can find them, and all their abilities.

Mounts aren’t just for exploring but they help you fight little annoying piglins, save your life when you are crying at 1HP and they do them with cool unique abilities. So, here are all 4 of the Minecraft Legends mounts currently in the game!

MOUNTMANIA

With every single map being completely different in each playthrough, there is no specific location where you can find each mount. However, you can find them in certain regions. So here’s a little tip for you that’s not mentioned in a lot of other guides. As you explore the map, there will be the yellow question marks. Those are Points of Interests which you should try to explore as soon as possible. 4 of these question marks will actually show you where the 4 mounts will be located at. So the current available mounts are the Horse, the Regal Tiger, the Big Beak and the Brilliant Beetle. To swap mounts, you just hold the Q button beside them and tada! You now have a new mount. You can swap mounts any time at a respawn point or village.

THE HORSE

The horse is your standard mount and yay, you spawn with it! It’s just a regular horse and doesn’t have any sort of abilities to help you in battle, but it has an indefinite sprint which is great for exploring the world.

How To Find: You start off with this default creature at the start of every Minecraft Legends session.

THE REGAL TIGER

The regal tiger is honestly a huge upgrade to the horse. It is ideal if you want to just go zoomies across the world in Minecraft Legends. The tiger is also the fastest mount in the game and the chonkiest. They can’t get you out of sticky situations really fast, but keep in mind, they do get tired fast since their stamina is lower than the other mounts.

Where To Find: You can find these chonkies in the Dry Savannah region and Badlands biomes.

THE BRILLIANT BEETLE

Honestly, the beetles are the cutest mounts to me. They’re very flat but they have this cute horn on top. Now they are the slowest mount in the game, but they have very unique abilities which you’ll sure as hell find useful. You know how annoying Jagged Peaks is? How vertical and terrible it is to climb?

Well fear not, the beetle makes that look like cake. One of the beetle’s abilities is that it can climb any structure. All you need to do is to walk up any wall or cliff, and they will immediately climb up the structure. The other ability it has is that when you hold the jump button, the beetle will begin flapping its tiny wings and gliding down to break your fall.

Where To Find: You can find these beetles in the Jungle & Forest biome.

THE BIG BEAK

You know what sucks? Fall damage. The bird is one of the more versatile mounts to use because you can travel by air and they get a good amount of speed when on land. I’ve found them to be most handy when you get knocked into the air or when you have to jump over walls (Yes you can jump over the walls you built!). The bird has the ability to glide over long distances and the higher you go, the longer you’ll glide.

Where To Find: The bird can be found in Jagged Peaks biomes. They’re also in the Swamp biomes. We suggest you find these as they’re the best ones for jumping and traversing.

Aaaand that’s it. That’s how you get every single mount in Minecraft Legends! Stay tuned for more of our guides.
