ASUS ROG Phone Becomes The Official Phone Partner Of The Malaysian MPL

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced an exciting two-year collaboration with Moonton Games, an international gaming developer and publisher. The goal is to enhance the gaming experience of players worldwide and optimize the performance of the popular ROG Phone series for competitive gaming.

Since 2022, the ROG Phone team has been working closely with Moonton, starting with the Malaysia Professional League. Building on the success of their collaboration, they are now taking their partnership to the next level by expanding globally. They will be involved in four major Mobile Legends: Bang Bang international esports tournaments: the Southeast Asia Cup in 2023 and 2024, as well as the M-Series World Championships M5 and M6. The aim is to bring esports to new heights, providing gamers with top-tier content and an exceptional gaming experience.

Official partner of the MPL

In preparation for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2023, ROG will preload the MLBB application on their latest ROG Phone 7 series. Fans will also have access to an MLBB theme pack, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the game and join in the excitement of the event with a customized MLBB-themed interface.

Alexis Wong, Moonton Games Regional Sales and Business Development Lead for Esports Division, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to collaborate with ROG to elevate esports and gaming for everyone. This alliance will provide MLBB gamers with an unparalleled experience, offering them the finest forms of esports and gaming content.”

Shawn Chang, ASUS Global Sales and Marketing Director of the Phone Business Unit, emphasized ROG’s commitment to creating phones that deliver exceptional performance and an immersive gaming experience.

“Every ROG Phone is designed with a strong focus on performance, power efficiency, and providing an immersive gaming experience. Our goal is to enhance the MLBB gaming experience and take esports tournaments to the next level.”

The ROG Phone 7 Series boasts remarkable features designed for winning games, including the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform. Combined with the advanced GameCool 7 thermal system and special ROG tuning, this phone provides an awe-inspiring mobile gaming experience while maintaining impressive power efficiency. With a 165 Hz refresh rate and a built-in subwoofer in the AeroActive Cooler 7, the ROG Phone 7 series ensures an immersive gaming experience with incredible sound.

The first event to be partnered with ROG is MSC 2023, set to take place in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in June. This event will make history by featuring new teams from outside Southeast Asia, including North America, MENA (Middle East and North Africa), and Turkey.
