Street Fighter 6: Manon Move List & Guide

Street Fighter 6 is coming out on 2nd June, which is just less than a month away. As such, the game’s roster for its launch is set with 18 characters, each with their various playstyles.

In this entry, we’ll be focusing on Manon, the French ballet model judo practitioner with the tall build and long legs.

Note: This guide is still in development.
All inputs are in numpad notations. For example, Hadouken from player 1’s starting side is 236P.
Attack buttons are as follows: LP, MP, HP are light punch, medium punch, and heavy punch respectively. LK, MK, and HK are light kick, medium kick, and heavy kick respectively. None of this Fierce or Roundhouse bulls*** in Asia.

Street Fighter 6 Manon Overview

Manon is a grappler (kinda) who gets scarier the longer she sticks around. See, she gains Medal levels for every command throw she lands – Manège Doré and Renversé. She gets a maximum of 5, and her command grabs deal really high damage at level 5. These Medal levels do not reset until the entire match is done, and do carry over the next round(s).

Coupled with her target combos and pokes that have vacuum effects, you have a grappler who also has a few anti-airs and mid-ranged combo potential. You have to at least land a command grab or two to put the fear into opponents, before you start with the poking using Manon’s long reach.

Play If: You love half-and-half characters; Manon is half a grappler and half a momentum mid-ranged attacker, love having great poking tools.

Avoid If: You prefer better attacks out of the gate, you are not a patient player, cannot handle zoners

Street Fighter 6 Manon Move List

Special Moves

Manège Doré: 63214P. Command grab. When it lands, you get 1 Medal Level. The command grab deals more damage the higher your Medal Level is.

Rond-point: 236K. Combo move and anti-air (if done early).

Dégagé: 214K. Thrust kick with great horizontal range. LK version hits low, while MK version is a lunge. HK version is an overhead. OD version is an overhead Manon can combo from.

Renversé: 236P. A spin move that becomes a hit command grab (think Ibuki’s). When you land it, you gain 1 Medal Level. Gets better with more Medal Levels.
This move has one follow-up: press K during Renversé for a mid-ranged poke.

Super Arts

Arabesque: 236236K. Quick lunge kick. Invincible on startup.

Etoile: 214214K. Great anti-air attack and a way to combo opponents in the air.

Pas de Deux: 236236P. High-damage command grab.

Unique Attacks

Révérence: 4HP

Tomoe Derrière: 3HK. Launcher

A Terre: MP>MK. Target combo with vacuum effect, bringing opponents closer for command grabs.

En Haut: 4MK>MK. Second hit is an overhead.

Temps Lié: HP>HP. Target combo with vacuum effect.

Allongé: 2HP>HP. Good anti-air option (ala SF5 Birdie’s 2MP)
