Diablo 4 Has A Fast XP Farm Just Like In The Beta

If you’re a fan of playing through one single dungeon just to get to Level 100, this short piece of news is for you.

Turns out that Diablo 4 has a spot that’s unintentionally for experience farming: Anica’s Claim. It’s located in The Fractured Peaks (Act 1 area) and is easily accessible and arguably more efficient than plowing through the campaign. In this dungeon, once you’re given the dungeon’s quest to kill a bunch of unique enemies in a big circle, you open the door leading to the boss. The trick for XP farming is to reset the dungeon before fighting the boss, and also fighting in a full party for maximum XP bonus. Anica’s Claim has a circular design and loads of enemies to kill, meaning it’s the best spot for XP farming until Blizzard patches it out eventually; Diablo 4 is treated as a live service game after all.

Anyway, here’s how to unlock and farm XP in Diablo 4’s dungeon Anica’s Claim:

  • Travel to the Malnok Stronghold to the east of Kyovashad and complete it. You can do this at any level after unlocking Kyovashad.
  • Enter the now-unlocked Anica’s Claim dungeon. It’s located north of where the Stronghold was located.
  • Run past random enemies until you find Animus collectors. Kill Animus collectors.
  • After you’ve done the objective(s), but before fighting the boss, reset the dungeon. You can do this by selecting leave dungeon in your action menu (E) or have your party leader leave the party.
  • If you’re playing solo, wait a minute before re-entering the dungeon. Otherwise, invite your allies and start the grind again.

While this is all well and good, Diablo 4’s really huge and expansive open world gives you TONS of places and dungeons to explore, loot, and gain XP from. So do Anica’s Claim repeatedly if you feel like grinding in the same spot.

Diablo 4 is out for PC and consoles right now. Check out our review and guides.
