Stranger Things Season 5 Cast Adds Terminator Star Linda Hamilton

During Netflix TUDUM 2023, it was announced that veteran actress Linda Hamilton is joining the cast of Stranger Things Season 5. She is best known for starring in the Terminator franchise as Sarah Connor.

Work on Stranger Things Season 5 officially began in August 2022. However, it has officially been delayed due to the ongoing Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike.

Back in May 2023, Stranger Things showrunners the Duffer brothers said:

“Writing does not stop when filming begins. While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike. We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work. Until then — over and out. #wgastrong.”

The first four seasons of Stranger Things are now available to stream on Netflix. There is no release date or release window for Stranger Things Season 5.
