By Alleef Ashaari|July 6, 2023|0 Comment
Garena Free Fire’s sixth-anniversary celebrations begin this weekend. Look out for the main in-game attraction, Color Cube, as it powers up and transforms into a massive floating island. By completing a mission on this island, players can stand to win a revival chance in Battle Royale mode. Activities not to be missed include the 6th Anniversary Rank Protection event from 7 to 16 July 2023, which grants players immunity from losing stars or points in Clash Squad and Battle Royale; and Hat Relay starting 14 July 2023, which gifts players an exclusive sixth anniversary-themed hat.
Nearing the peak of the festivities on 14 July 2023, players can explore carnival-themed Craftland events that will be refreshed weekly. In the meantime, all are encouraged to log in during the anniversary period and take part in missions to collect free souvenirs and rewards, such as:
To commemorate Free Fire’s sixth birthday, a music video for the new theme song “We Win” will be released on 7 July 2023. The video showcases the four members of the T.R.A.P. squad, joined by Awakened Alok, leading players to battle in Free Fire. Besides immersing in the fervent melody and rousing narrative portrayed in the music video, fans can catch a glimpse of the latest T.R.A.P. Chroma Series and the iconic sixth-anniversary foating island.
T.R.A.P. is the first and only virtual idol group released in the Free Fire Universe, comprising Kelly, Antonio, Moco, and Miguel. Following its establishment in 2020, the group went on to be one of the most popular series of the year, with players favouring the group’s memorable debut track together with each member’s unique and trendy outfits. The group will now return as New T.R.A.P., featuring Tatsuya as its latest member in place of Miguel who plays a Special Forces Elite Soldier in Free Fire.
This anniversary, New T.R.A.P. will launch a range of stylish hip-hop fashion collectibles starting 1 Jul. These include character bundles T.R.A.P. Chromablack Bundle, T.R.A.P. Chromawhite Bundle, T.R.A.P. Stage Bundle, and the T.R.A.P. Hip Bundle, as seen on members Tatsuya, Kelly, Antonio, and Moco respectively. The T.R.A.P. Evo MP40 Chromasonic will also be available with revamped abilities and features such as firing effects and a bullet trail.
Additionally, the T.R.A.P. Emote Lead – Chromatic Pop Dance, as well as Booyah Pass Bundles featuring Antonio and Moco’s character bundles, will be obtainable from 1 July 2023.
Throughout the whole of the sixth anniversary period, players can indulge in several time-limited Craftland gameplays with the theme of Color Playground. These include:
At the height of Free Fire’s sixth-anniversary celebrations, fans can tune in to a celebratory event on 23 July at 7pm GMT+8, following the conclusion of the Free Fire Clash Squad SEA Cup (FF CS Cup).

MCPS will be represented by popular content creators Mr D and Suaa Gaming. Starting next week, fans can vote on the Garena Free Fire Malaysia Facebook page for their favourite MCPS players to be featured in the Afterparty.
