The mecca of competitive fighting game is back again for 2023.

Now with a few new games in tow, Evolution Championship Series, or EVO 2023, will be happening next week. With many fighting games and presentations ready, it’s going to be a treat for fans of the long-running genre. Plus, this is the debut of Capcom’s Street Fighter 6, which came out early June, so expect a lot of high-level matches featuring the world’s finest.

Speaking of which, about 7,000 people have registered for the Street Fighter 6 tournament. That’s a lot of people, but not surprising since Street Fighter is still a big and popular game among the community.
