Among Us Teases New Crossover With Popular Indie Games

Among Us, developed by InnerSloth, has undoubtedly achieved remarkable success as an indie game. With its overwhelming popularity, the game has swiftly become a global sensation in recent years. Surprisingly, it seems that Among Us will be collaborating with other renowned indie games for an upcoming crossover event.

The official Among Us Twitter account has recently released an intriguing key art featuring a Crewmate surrounded by cryptic characters from various indie games. Though the official announcement is yet to be made, the team has hinted that “new collabs” are on the way in a following tweet.

The inclusion of specific games in the upcoming crossover remains a mystery, yet this has not deterred fans from speculation. It appears that fans on Twitter have spotted apparent references to Celeste, Untitled Goose Game, A Hat in Time, Alien Hominid, River City Girls, Undertale, and Crypt of the Necrodancer.

Although these guesses are purely speculation, some appear plausible based on the key art. One particular image, located in the middle right, bears an uncanny resemblance to the main character from the Untitled Goose Game. As always, keep in mind that this should be considered speculative until official announcements are made.

Since the rise in popularity of Among Us in 2020, the game has collaborated with various games and franchises. For instance, there have been skins released based on popular franchises such as Halo, Ratchet & Clank, and Scream. These are just a few examples of the numerous collaborations that have taken place.

As of now, there are no new updates about the collaboration or when it will launch. However, it is possible that we may receive further updates during The Game Awards, as there have been instances of Among Us-related news being shared by Geoff Keighley.
