BioWare Drops Mystery Teaser For Mass Effect 5 On N7 Day 2023
Today is N7 Day, which is a day of celebration for Mass Effect franchise fans that falls on 7 November every year. On N7 Day 2023, BioWare has dropped a special brief teaser for the next Mass Effect game, be it Mass Effect 4 (well, it’s easy to forget Mass Effect Andromeda being a real game), Mass Effect 5 or Mass Effect Epsilon.
The teaser only shows someone walking, but the official landed page website for the video states the following:
/////ACCESS CODE ACCEPTED
/////SECONDARY ENCRYPTION DETECTED
/////VJBSVU-XXXX-XXXXXXXX
/////ANDROMEDA DISTRESS SIGNAL DETECTED
/////YEAR SENT: [REDACTED]
/////AUDIO TRANSCRIPT: ALTHOUGH THEY SHOULD KNOW BY NOW NOT TO UNDERESTIMATE HUMAN [REDACTED]
What does it mean? Could the title of the game be Mass Effect Epsilon? Is that Liara or Shepard walking? Who knows? Perhaps BioWare will reveal more soon in the near future.
Another teaser was unveiled later today as well:
/////ACCESS CODE: OCULON-2819-DEFIANCE
/////ACCESS CODE ACCEPTED
/////TERTIARY ENCRYPTION DETECTED
/////CLASSIFIED: REVIEW BRIEFING MATERIALS ON OFFICIAL ALLIANCE COMMS CHANNELS
The second teaser looks like it’s an N7, but is it Shepard? In the Mass Effect universe, the N7 rank is reserved for the best and most elite soldiers.
BioWare has been quiet about the new Mass Effect game for a while now, with there being few updates over the past few years.
Stay tuned on Kakuchopurei!
