Frostpunk 2 Is Coming First Half Of 2024 For PC & Game Pass Day One
Publisher and developer 11 Bit Studios recently announced the highly anticipated sequel to its city-building survival game, Frostpunk 2. The game is scheduled to be released for PC in the first half of 2024 and will be available on day one via Game Pass. The announcement was accompanied by a gameplay trailer that provided fans with a glimpse into what’s in store.

The new gameplay trailer showcased that the sequel to the previous game will possess distinct differences while still staying true to its fundamental elements of city-building, strategy, and management.
The game will take place thirty years after the Great Storm, allowing players to take on the role of a Steward and make decisions that will shape the future of the entire City and its people. In this position, it is crucial to consider the needs and demands of society while ensuring the sustainability and survival of a growing metropolis. Players must also grapple with the challenges posed by both the apocalypse and the internal conflicts among the city’s inhabitants. They must manage emerging crises while also guiding humanity towards a promising future.
Although the precise release date has not yet been disclosed, Frostpunk 2 is planned to be released for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. Subsequently, it will also be available for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 at a later date.
