How To Farm Essence In Nightingale
By Xandria Morden|February 23, 2024|0 Comment
Essence is one of the most important currencies in Nightingale! It’s used to repair your gear and to also buy recipes from traders. Later on, you will need it for crafting and upgrading things. You are always going to need it so I’ve got you covered on keeping that sweet essence always stocked up! Essences come in Tiers and you can tell them apart by colours: Tier 0 (Essence Dust, Grey), Tier 1 (Green), Tier 2 (Blue), and Tier 3 (Purple).
Luckily, you can get Essence from doing pretty much anything. However, farming essence does become harder as you scale up on the higher tiers. For the lowest tier, you can extract essence from anything you don’t need in your inventory. Another way to get it is to use your sickle and just harvest plant fibers. To extract, follow the steps below!
Antiquarian realms are your best friend! You can find Tier 1+ essences here. Obviously the way to get to an Antiquarian Realm is by activating an Antiquarian Realm Card alongside a Biome card. These essences are harder to acquire and you will need to enter dungeons to get them. You’ll find ‘stray portals’ in these dungeons, and these will lead you to ‘essence bundles’.
There are a lot of dungeons, portals and labyrinths inside the Antiquarian Realms. Completing all of these will give you more essences. The essence tier you get depends on the realm tier you are in. Exploring will get you a lot of places so go forth and explore!
