New Soulslike Enotria: The Last Song Slated For June

Publisher and developer Jyamma Games have unveiled the release date and platforms for the anticipated Soulslike action RPG Enotria: The Last Song. The game mixes Italian folklore with Soulslike gameplay.

Unlike most Soulslike games, which tend to present dark and oppressive environments, Enotria: The Last Song offers a unique and refreshing take on this genre. Set in a sun-drenched Italy-inspired landscape, this game has been dubbed “Summer Souls” by the developers. Don’t let the name fool you as there are still dark secrets waiting to be discovered.

Players will take on the role of the Maskless One, a hero armed with a mystical sword named Ardore. Their mission is to break the cycle of darkness that traps the land in eternal stagnation. This stasis is imposed by the Canovaccio, a malevolent force that operates as if it were a never-ending play. Players will need to confront the Authors who are responsible for the Canovaccio’s creation.

To defeat these authors, players will utilize the power of Ardore, a sword that can manipulate reality. This ability comes in particularly useful when solving puzzles and engaging in intense combat scenarios. By utilizing Ardore’s abilities, players can unravel the true nature of the Canovaccio and its creators, ultimately bringing peace back to the region.

The gameplay mechanics involve wearing different Masks acquired from the defeated enemies. Each Mask possesses its own set of benefits and drawbacks, enabling players to tailor their playstyle. This customization is further supported by the Path of Innovators talent tree. Furthermore, players can switch between three customizable loadouts at any moment, enabling them to adapt to changing circumstances.

For those who want to get their hands on the game early, Enotria offers a Deluxe Edition priced at $59.99 (RM208.00). This edition includes 72 hours of Early Access to the game, a digital artbook, the game’s soundtrack, an exclusive weapon set, skins, and a DLC pack. Alternatively, players can opt for the Standard Edition, which is offered at $49.99 (RM174.00). Preorders have already begun on the Epic Games Store, and an additional bonus for the Deluxe Edition includes free access to the upcoming DLC.

Enotria: The Last Song is scheduled to launch on 21 June 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam.
