Doctor Who Trailer Reveals Timey Wimey Events Coming This May On Disney+ Hotstar
By Alleef Ashaari|March 23, 2024|0 Comment
A new trailer has revealed that the latest season/series of Doctor Who begins streaming on 7 am GMT+8 on 11 May 2024 on Disney+ Hotstar.
Doctor Who follows the Doctor (the 15th Doctor, as played by Ncuti Gatwa) and his companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) as they travel across time and space, with adventures all the way from the Regency era in England, to war-torn future worlds. Throughout their adventures in the TARDIS – a time-travelling ship shaped like a police box – they encounter incredible friends and dangerous foes, including a terrifying bogeyman, and the Doctor’s most powerful enemy yet.
In the trailer, the 15th doctor and Ruby can be seen roaming with the dinosaurs, ballroom dancing in Victorian England and fighting off alien creatures in a war-torn future.
Other confirmed cast members include Aneurin Barnard, Anita Dobson, Yasmin Finney, Michelle Greenidge, Jonathan Groff, Bonnie Langford, Genesis Lynea, Jemma Redgrave, Lenny Rush, Indira Varma and Angela Wynter.
In November/December 2023, Doctor Who premiered for the first time on Disney+ Hotstar with three 60th-anniversary special episodes, as well as a Christmas special episode that introduced the world to Ncuti Gatwa as the new Doctor.
As a Whovian, I’m happy for all my fellow Whovians out there.
