Shin Megami Tensei V & All DLCs To Be Delisted in June

Shin Megami Tensei V has been available on the Nintendo Switch since its initial release in November 2021. However, an enhanced version of the game, titled Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, is scheduled to launch next month.

Vengeance will include all the DLC that was previously released for the original game, as well as some additional DLC content that fans will have to purchase separately. Plus, it will bring a wealth of new content to the table, including a brand-new story, new demons, and new characters.

The following content will be removed from the Nintendo eShop before Vengeance’s release:

  • Shin Megami Tensei V
  • Shin Megami Tensei V Digital Deluxe Edition
  • Downloadable Content Bundle
  • Return of the True Demon
  • A Goddess in Training
  • The Rage of a Queen
  • The Doctor’s Last Wish
  • Mitama Dance of Wealth
  • Mitama Dance of Miracles
  • Mitama Dance of EXP
  • Safety Difficulty

In an announcement on the official Atlus website, Atlus has revealed that they will be replacing the original release of Shin Megami Tensei V with the enhanced version, scheduled for release in June.

For those who already own the original game, there is no need to take any action as they will not lose access to their copy. However, Atlus has not clarified any plans regarding the possibility of upgrading from the original release to Vengeance.

Shin Megami Tensei V and all its content will be removed on 13 June 2024 from the Nintendo Switch eShop. The game will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam on 14 June 2024.
