Steampunk 2D platformer Gestalt: Steam & Cinder gets Slight Delay
By Ali'sha Harris|May 13, 2024|0 Comment
Publisher Fireshine Games and developer Metamorphosis Games have revealed that the highly anticipated 2D adventure platformer, Gestalt: Steam & Cinder, will be experiencing a slight delay. Initially scheduled for release on PC on 21 May 2024, the development team now requires more time to polish the game due to unforeseen issues.
Gestalt: Steam & Cinder pays homage to classic 16-bit and 32-bit titles. One of the game’s standout features is the captivating steampunk world and intense combat action.
The game follows Aletheia, a “Soldner” who undertakes a series of perilous missions as an elite mercenary. She is thrust into the Steam City of Canaan to fight for humanity’s survival and uncover the dark and dangerous truths embedded deep within the city’s foundation.
Players will find themselves employing both blade and gun skills to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies. Evading attacks is just as important as attacking, as abilities like dodging and jumping become key tools of the trade. As you progress, you can unlock additional skills, allowing you to customize your gameplay experience.
Gestalt: Steam & Cinder will now be releasing July 16th: https://t.co/96uIk0tCXh
