Wuthering Waves Confirms Pre-Load & Global Launch Times

Chinese-based development and publishing studio, Kuro Games has unveiled juicy details of its highly anticipated open-world action RPG, Wuthering Waves. In the Japan Reveal Livestream, we now know when players can start to pre-load and when its servers will officially go live.

According to the announcement, players will be able to pre-download Wuthering Waves on 21 May 2024, at 6 PM (GMT+8) / 3 AM (PT). This pre-load option will be available for both smartphone and PC users. Smartphone users can download the game from the App Store or the Google Play Store, while PC users will have to visit the official website.

While the game’s initial release will be exclusive to smartphone and PC platforms, PlayStation users should know that a PlayStation version is currently in development. However, it won’t be available at launch.

As for the global launch, Wuthering Waves will officially be available on 23 May 2024 at 10AM (GMT+8) / 22 May 2024, at 7 PM (PT), according to the Japan Reveal Livestream. Please note that the release may vary depending on the specific timezone.

But that’s not all! Alongside the announcement, the company has confirmed that exciting range of content to look forward to when the game releases. Upon release, players who log in for five days will have the option to obtain resonator Sanhua without charge. Additionally, there will be a special 20% discount on Novice Convene gacha pulls. Furthermore, players will have the opportunity to target a 5-star resonator and weapon of their choice through Targeted Covene and an upgraded Union Level.

There will be a three-week banner cycle for new characters, ensuring a steady stream of fresh content. Players can look forward to updated Story Quests and revised dialogue. Plus, new challenges will be introduced, including new Bosses, such as the formidable Crownless female boss. Navigation will also be improved with the addition of more grapple points.

Wuthering Waves is set to release on 22 May 2024 for iOS, Android, and PC via Epic Games and its official website.
