XDefiant Launch Week Schedule & Preseason Details Unveiled

Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of its highly anticipated first-person shooter, XDefiant, with a series of events during its Launch Week. Positioned as a competitor to Call of Duty, XDefiant has been building excitement with detailed content about its factions and the All-Star Series. Now, the final promotional push is here with the XDefiant Launch Week schedule.

XDefiant Launch Week

Ubisoft has announced six events for XDefiant Launch Week, leading up to the game’s release on 21 May. Here’s a look at what to expect each day:

  • 16 May: Launch trailer release and game pre-load begins.
  • 17 May: XDebrief Preseason episode with game news, updates, and details.
  • 20 May: Release of the XDefiant Battle Pass trailer.
  • 21 May:
    • Tips and tricks guide release.
    • All-Star Series finals.
    • Official game launch and the start of Preseason.

With four days packed full of content, Ubisoft is ensuring fans are well-prepared for XDefiant’s debut. After extensive testing periods, the latest in April, the game is finally ready for its official launch.

XDefiant’s Preseason

Unlike many games that start with Season 1, XDefiant will begin with a Preseason, lasting six weeks before the first official season kicks off. This period promises a steady release of new content and features.

Here’s what you need to know about the Preseason:

  • Launch Date: 21 May at 10:00 AM PT / 22 May at 1:00 AM UTC+8.
  • Content: Includes features from the previous Server Test Session.
  • New Additions: Introduction of the Dedsec Faction, available for unlocking or purchase.
  • Gameplay: 14 maps and 5 modes.
  • Ranked Mode: Not available at launch, but a practice ranked playlist will be offered.

Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to dive into the world of XDefiant starting 21 May.
