At today’s Xbox Games Showcase, Rare revealed the trailer for Season 13 of Sea of Thieves, which will launch on 25 July.

The open-world pirate adventure game teased exciting new content for its upcoming season. The highlight of Sea of Thieves Season 13 is the introduction of Flameheart’s formidable flagship, which players will have the chance to capture. Seizing this flagship will thrust players into an all-encompassing world event. In this event, players can bombard enemies with fire, receive assistance from a skeleton crew against rival crews, and earn rewards for their efforts.

Sea of Thieves invites players to explore a vast open world filled with islands, sunken ships, and mysterious artefacts. Treasure hunting is a core element of the game, with Skeleton Captains presenting formidable obstacles. Additionally, the game features a narrative-driven campaign, offering players the chance to experience 11 tales across two storylines, embodying a cinematic pirate fantasy.

The game is continuously updated with new monthly content, including characters, mechanics, and various rewards. Currently, Season 12 is active in the game, bringing new weapons and tools along with traversal modes. This season introduced double-barrel pistols and throwing knives, as well as new traversal tools like the Scattershot Bone Collar and the Horn of Fair Winds.
