Ubisoft Unveils Anno 117: Pax Romana Teaser Slated For 2025
By Lewis Larcombe|June 11, 2024|0 Comment
During today’s Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft revealed the next instalment in its acclaimed city-building series, Anno 117: Pax Romana, set to launch in 2025. This new game transports players back to Ancient Rome, where they will assume the role of a governor tasked with expanding the empire and determining its future through military conquest or economic prosperity.
Anno 117: Pax Romana aims to be the most comprehensive and detailed Roman simulation ever created. Staying true to the Anno series’ focus on construction rather than destruction, players will have the opportunity to develop a province in either Latium or the Celtic region of Albion. They will manage a wide range of elements, from constructing aqueducts to organising naumachia naval battles in the coliseum. Players can choose to either disseminate Roman culture or embrace Celtic traditions, making each game a unique experience.
The game will be available in 2025 on multiple platforms, including PC via Ubisoft Connect, PS5, Xbox Series X | S, and Amazon Luna. Additionally, it will be part of the Ubisoft+ Premium subscription service.
