Deadpool & Wolverine Deleted Scene Reveals What Happens To Gambit
By Alleef Ashaari|August 28, 2024|0 Comment
Channing Tatum’s Remy Labeau AKA Gambit has become arguably the fan-favourite internet sensation (and even a meme) after the release of Deadpool & Wolverine in July 2024. However, in the actual movie, we don’t get to see what happens to our fave cajun at the very end.
Now, thanks to Ryan Reynolds himself, we do.
Earlier today, Ryan Reynolds tweeted a high-quality version of a Deadpool & Wolverine deleted scene.

The clip shows Gambit surviving in the aftermath of the movie’s final battle. The camera then zooms in on Gambit’s face to reveal a reflection of the Marvel Sparkle Circle (you know, one of those magical portals that magic users like Doctor Strange and Wong are able to perform in the Marvel Cinematic Universe).
What this means is that Channing Tatum’s version of Gambit is alive and well out there in the multiverse. This also means that it’s possible for Channing Tatum to reprise his role as Gambit in the future.
Reynolds also confirmed that this deleted scene actually appears in one of the scenes in the movie. It can be seen on one of the monitors in the background of the TVA, but it was probably too small for anyone to really notice.
Of course, fans would probably love the idea of Channing Tatum returning as Gambit.
Maybe he can be the MCU’s official version of Gambit? Who knows?
Excelsior!
