Zenless Zone Zero’s first-ever update is out right now, and you get to acquire two of the game’s new characters for your ever-growing character action roster.

Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 “Undercover R&B” update puts the character banner spotlight on Qingyi and Seth, two New Eridu Public Security (NEPS) officers who work together with Zhu Yuan protecting the city from criminals and Hollow activities. Qingyi Best Build Guide

Overview

Qingyi is an S-Rank Stun-speciality Agent who is young on the outside, but old in the inside. Her attributes are Electric and is in the NEPS Criminal Investigation Special Response Team faction.

Her kit allows her to deal multi-hit electric attacks when you spam the attack button on the third hit of her basic attack combo. Once you stop mashing, she’ll pull off a final hit that deals big damage. Her biggest strengths include increasing the Stun Multiplier of enemies and having a decent damage output. She also cannot be interrupted during the third hit of her basic attack, so use and abuse that move whenever you can.

However, her Stun capabilities are weaker compared to other S-Rank Stun Agents. However, her damage output offsets this.

Qingyi Best Stun Build

W-Engine(s): Ice-Jade Teapot (BEST), The Restrained, Hellfire Gears, Steam Oven, Precious Fossilized Core, Six Shooter
Drive Disc Build: Shockstar Disco x4, Swing Jazz x2

Qingyi’s build should focus on the following stats: Impact (IMPORTANT), Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Electric Damage, PEN Ratio,  Attack%. This is so that her damage and stun multipliers get amplified from these equipment buffs. Just keep in mind that Impact affects Stun rate, so focus on that stat when giving Qingyi equipment.

The best W-Engines for her help give her some Energy Regen so that she can access her EX Special Attack easily.

Qingyi Best Team Composition

F2P Team: Qingyi, Nicole, Billy, Sumoboo/Bagboo/Booressure/Avocaboo Bangboo

Zhu Yuan NEPS Team: Qingyi, Nicole, Zhu Yuan, Resonaboo/Devilboo/Booressure/Sumoboo Bangboo

Electric Boogaloo Team: Qingyi, Rina, Anton, Plugboo/Safety/Electroboo Bangboo

These team compositions help complement Qingyi’s Stun skills while also dishing out the hurt. The Zhu Yuan team deals massive damage as Zhu Yuan herself is one of the best Ether-element attackers in the game.

Where is Jane Doe the Rat Therin & Seth?

While Jane and Seth are playable in the game’s 1.1 special quest “Undercover R&B”, they are not on any character banner and gacha promotion at the moment. HoYoverse will release Jane and Seth as character banner gacha offerings later on 4th September.
