In early January, MINTROCKET announced that Dave the Diver had sold three million copies since its release. Fast forward to the end of the year, and the game has gained an additional two million players, proving its enduring appeal among gamers worldwide.
Originally debuting in Early Access on Steam on 27 October 2022, the game received widespread acclaim for its quirky blend of deep-sea exploration, sushi restaurant management, and heartfelt storytelling. Following its full PC launch on 28 June 2023, Dave the Diver expanded its reach to the Nintendo Switch on 26 October 2023, further growing its audience. The title then made waves on PlayStation platforms, launching for both PS4 and PS5 on 16 April 2024.
From its humble beginnings in Early Access to its multi-platform success, Dave the Diver continues to resonate with fans for its unique gameplay, vibrant art style, and compelling narrative. With over five million sales under its belt, the future looks bright for MINTROCKET and its oceanic masterpiece.
