It’s been almost two years since Mythic Quest Season 3 ended at the end of January 2023, but Apple TV+ has announced that Mythic Quest Season 4 will premiere on 29 January 2025. The fourth season will launch with two episodes on 29 January 2025, followed by one new episode weekly through Wednesday, 26 March 2025.

Mythic Quest centers on Ian Grimm (Rob McElhenney), the owner and creative director of a successful video game studio, who struggles to keep his hit game on top in concert with the dysfunctional family that makes up his staff.

In Season 4, Ian (McElhenney), along with his team comprised of fellow cast members Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis and Naomi Ekperigin, confront new challenges amongst a changing video game landscape as stars rise, egos clash, relationships bloom, and everyone tries to have a little more work work-life balance.

They also announced the Mythic Quest anthology series spinoff Side Quest will premiere on 26 March 2025 as Mythic Quest Season 4 finishes. An expansion of the Mythic Quest universe, Side Quest explores the lives of employees, players, and fans who are impacted by the game in an anthology format. The series stars Rob McElhenney, Anna Konkle, Derek Waters, William Stanford Davis, Bria Henderson, Rome Flynn, Leonard Robinson, Gary Kraus, Annamarie Kasper, Esai Morales, Shalta Grant and more.
