Marvel Snap Down In The US, Affected By TikTok Ban
Many American Marvel Snap players in the United States Of America (USA) are complaining of not being able to access the game after the nationwide TikTok ban went into effect on Sunday, 19 January 2025.
Marvel Snap is a digital collectible card game developed by Second Dinner and published by Nuverse for mobile platforms (Android and iOS) and PC.
The reason why Marvel Snap might be accidentally a casualty of the TikTok ban is because the parent company of developer, Nuverse, is Chinese megacorporation Bytedance. Bytedance is also the parent company of TikTok.
At the time of writing, Marvel Snap is unable to be accessed in the US.

I don’t have TikTok installed but evidently Bytedance also owns the company that makes Snap? Gone from iOS store too :/ pic.twitter.com/2jz4EeXCOS
