Death Stranding 2 Has A Release Date & A New Spiffy Trailer
Delivering packages and reconnecting America just got a little too intense.
Kojima Productions’ upcoming sequel to 2019 title Death Stranding, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, has a release date: 26 June exclusively on PlayStation 5. The new trailer features new music, new graphics, and new ways for main character Sam Bridges to deliver packages and connect the world in a new changed-up world after the events of the first game. The title will also feature more combat and fights with giant tar creatures using mechas; fingers crossed that this isn’t a one-off thing in the game.
In terms of star power, Death Stranding 2 will feature Norman Reedus (Sam Bridges), Lea Seydoux (Fragile), George “Mad Max” Miller (Tarman), Troy Baker (Higgs), Elle Fanning (Tomorrow), Fatih Akin (Dollman), Shioli Kutsuna (Rainy), Alastair Duncan (The President), Alissa Jung (Lucy), Nicholas Winding Refn (Heartman), Luca Marinelli (Neil), and Debra Wilson (Doctor).
This was announced during game director Hideo Kojima’s panel during this year’ SWSX tech and entertainment event. The announcement came with a new trailer and an interview between Kojima, Woodkid, and actors Norman Reedus and Troy Baker.
