The Final Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Base Character Is A Ninja Star
By Jonathan Toyad|April 10, 2025|0 Comment
SNK has unveiled the final character in the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves fighting game base roster, and it’s a classic character from the last title.
Hokutomaru, a ninja student of Andy Bogard and Mai Shiranui, is unveiled for the next Fatal Fury entry, making his entry again since Garou: Mark of the Wolves back in 1999. Just like in the last game, Hokutomaru has ninja stars, has Andy’s moves like Zan-ei Ken and Kuuha Dan vault kick, and even a few new tricks like his short hop slash and his ninja teleport move. Oh, and he’s also grown up a bit so he isn’t an annoying Naruto ninja kid archetype.
“Andy Bogard and Mai Shiranui’s young pupil. After the previous tournament, Hokutomaru traded his home in the mountains for the bustling metropolis that is South Town—with Terry’s help, that is. Despite having to grapple with the ups and downs that is “life in the city,” the fledgling Shiranui fighter spends a great deal of time wondering how to use his abilities to help those around him. With the latest tournament now close at hand, Hokutomaru decides it’s the perfect opportunity to see how he has grown.”
Check out all his sweet ninja moves in the new trailer below.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be out on 24th April for PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5. You can buy the Deluxe version of the game for early 3-day access, so technically it’s out on 21st April.
