Konami Press Start Live June 2025: All Games & Announcements
Once upon a time, Konami made video games. No, really—they didn’t just slap Pachinko machines with Metal Gear decals and call it a day. They were responsible for some of the most iconic franchises in gaming history: Silent Hill, Metal Gear, Suikoden. Then, somewhere along the way, they decided actual games were too much effort and pivoted into whatever dark timeline we’ve been stuck in since PT vanished off the face of the Earth.
But in 2025, something peculiar happened. Someone at Konami seemingly found a dusty hard drive labelled “Stuff People Actually Like” and hit the power button. This year’s Konami Showcase wasn’t just a corporate slideshow—it was a moment. A strange, nostalgic, borderline miraculous moment where Konami remembered it was Konami.
So here it is: every announcement from the Konami Showcase 2025, all neatly summarised so you don’t have to sit through 45 minutes of dramatic violins and Japanese businessmen trying not to blink.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
Snake’s back (again), opening the showcase with a lengthy look at MGS3 Delta, now boasting updated AI, slicker animations, and a new Fox Hunt online mode that isn’t just Metal Gear Online 2.5. Bonus goodies include a Sneaking DLC Pack with special-effect outfits and crossover minigames like Snake vs. Monkey on PC/PS5 and Bomberman variants for Xbox. Launches 28 August.
Darwin’s Paradox
Octopus meets Half-Life in this oddball debut from ZDT Studio, where Darwin the octopus is abducted by a mysterious beam and dumped in a grim industrial complex. Using enhanced cephalopod powers (ink, suction, tentacle antics), you’ll platform, puzzle, and panic your way back to the ocean.
eFootball Update

The ghost of Barça past returns as Messi, Neymar, and Suárez reunite in highlight reels to push the next season of Konami’s ever-evolving eFootball. Still free-to-play, still everywhere, still determined to prove it’s more than just PES with a worse name.
eBaseball MLB Pro Spirit
Konami’s mobile baseball sim signs Shohei Ohtani as this year’s face, while adding more MLB stars like Adley Rutschman and Jackson Merrill to the playable roster. It features all 30 MLB teams and lets pros pick their faves for you to use.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Updates

NBA forward Grant Williams briefly hijacked the stream to wax lyrical about Yu-Gi-Oh! before wishing good luck to all Duelists heading into this year’s WCQs and World Championships. Meanwhile, The Chronicles anime series continues, and the Early Days Collection is discounted on Switch and Steam until 15 June.
Suikoden I & II HD Remaster (Switch 2)

The critically acclaimed remaster is now headed to Nintendo Switch 2, featuring bumped-up resolution, better framerate, and helpful features like double-speed battles and auto-combat. The classic saga gets a modern polish, just in time for newcomers and old fans alike.
Suikoden Star Leap
A surprise mobile entry in the Suikoden universe, Star Leap is a pixel-meets-3D prequel set between Suikoden V and the first game. Coming to mobile and Steam, it’s free-to-play, visually nostalgic, and lore-rich. Wishlist it if your heart isn’t already full.
Gradius Origins
Gradius lives! The legendary space shooter celebrates its 40th anniversary with Gradius Origins, a remastered revival headed to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2 on 7 August. Finally, a proper birthday gift for old-school shmup fans.
Deliver At All Costs
Courier chaos meets explosive storytelling in this colourful action-adventure. As Winston Green, you’re a furious delivery man with a dark past who’ll do anything to get the job done. Stylish, over-the-top, and out now for PC and next-gen consoles — with a free demo, too.
Eden’s Zero
From Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima comes a long-overdue game adaptation of Eden’s Zero. You can try the new demo now, ahead of its full release on 15 July for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X | S. Expect anime mayhem and galaxy-wide drama.
Survival Kids
Lost on a tropical island with friends? Time to craft, explore, and escape. Survival Kids is a co-op multiplayer adventure designed for the whole family, playable online or locally with instant GameShare and GameChat. It’s exclusive to Switch 2—and it’s already out!
Silent Hill f
Konami doubles down on Japanese horror with Silent Hill f, an all-new title from NeoBards and visual novel legend Ryukishi07. Set in 1960s Japan, it’s focused on traditional, bone-deep fear rather than jump scares. Combat will be “fresh but familiar” when it drops on 25 September.
Silent Hill Remake
It’s finally happening. The original Silent Hill is being remade by Bloober Team. While details were scarce—no date, no footage—this faithful adaptation of the 1999 classic could pave the way for a Silent Hill 3 remake if all goes well. Fingers crossed it doesn’t get fogged up in development hell.
