Samsung’s Folding Lineup for 2025 Hits Malaysian Markets
It’s August and you what it means: New folding-screen smartphones from Korean tech giants, Samsung. Now into its seventh iteration, it’s no longer novelty that sells; it’s refinement. And credit where it is due, Samsung’s ability to somehow squeeze innovation to separate this year’s release from the last should be commended.
First up is the Z Fold 7 which is the thinnest in the Fold series yet. Sporting a closed form which is the thinnest ever among its brethren, this year’s Z Fold 7 is barely thicker than the bog standard S25 Ultra when placed side by side. With a wider screen that would also rival its Samsung flagship sibling, doubters to the Z Fold line are running out of excuses fast.

Starting from RM7,799 (12+256GB) and going all the way up to RM9,899 (16+1TB), the Z Fold 7 is easily Samsung’s costliest yet also, most advanced device of 2025.
Meanwhile, the Z Flip 7 also brought some new tricks up its sleeve especially with the ability to launch Gemini Live straight from the cover screen. This means that users have much less reason to flip the phone open – unless they want to flex on purpose, of course. By adding more functionality to the 4.1-inch cover screen, the Z Flip 7 now brings practicality and sensibility on top of its stylish outlook.

Available from RM4,999 (12+256GB), the more budget conscious out there can opt for the Z Flip 7 FE which sports smaller cover screen, battery and slightly underpowered processor, retailing from RM3,999 (8+128GB).
There are special deals going on at Samsung’s official website where they are offering free upgrade to double up on the storage capacity, special after-service deals, rebates and even trade-in offers for those who are keen.
Also released were two new models of Samsung wearables; the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) and the Galaxy Watch 8 which comes in three different variations; 40mm, 44mm and the ‘Classic’ 46mm watch face. Starting from RM1,299 for the 40mm model and all the way up to RM3,399 for the Ultra, we recommend checking out the product page at Samsung’s website for a clearer picture of what’s on offer.
Or you can just walk into any authorised Samsung store or official retailers near you to check them out in person.
