Adventure Game Dispatch Sold 1 Million Units In Just A Week Or So

AdHoc Studio’s latest game sure hit all the right notes, especially for those looking to play the Telltale Games adventure titles of the 2010s.

The studio’s first superhero adventure game DISPATCH has sold past 1 million units in 10 days on PC and PlayStation 5 platforms. That’s pretty impressive, though not surprising as AdHoc is made up of ex-Telltale Games developers, and most of the top-tier voice acting work are from VO group Critical Role. And the fact that there’s a vacuum for this style of adventure gaming (with a bit of simulation tossed in) since Telltale Games folded in 2018.

DISPATCH launched on 22nd October. As of now, the game contains 4 episodes, with 2 more coming out this week on 6th November 0:00 GMT+8 and the last 2 out on 13th November 0:00 GMT+8. For more on why the game is a sleeper hit, read our glowing review of the game’s first four episodes.
