Left Alive, Square Enix’s Front Mission Spin-Off, Gets March 2019 Release Date
Wanzer, I mean wonder no more as the Front Mission action game you’ve all been waiting desperately for will be out next year.
Left Alive, which is a far cry from the turn-based mecha-heavy strategy game the Front Mission series is known for, will be out 5th March 2019 for PC and PlayStation 4. To be fair, this isn’t the first time the Wanzer-focused series went real-time action on us fans. We had Front Mission Series – Gun Hazard (SNES) and Front Mission Evolved (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) to cater to our inner Wanzer mecha action cravings.
At the very least, Left Alive will have top-tier talent behind it: director Toshifumi Nabeshima is responsible for Chromehounds and the Armored Core series, while Metal Gear character designer Yoji Shinkawa and Xenoblade Chronicles X/MS Gundam 00 mech designer Takayuki Yanase will be handling the main aesthetics & meat of the game.
Check out the latest trailer below. While we’re on the subject, Toshifumi Nabeshima and producer Shinji Hashimoto will be popping by The Philippines for the Electronic Sports & Gaming Summit 2018 gaming expo for a Left Alive-related presentation. Score one for SEA!
